Heritage Park & Museums
Dublin Heritage Park & Museums is a charming 10-acre park featuring historic buildings, lawns, a pioneer cemetery, and picnic areas—all owned and operated by the City of Dublin, though the Dublin Historical Society proudly contributes to exhibits and special programming. The museums (including the 1856 Murray Schoolhouse and Kolb House) are open free to the public Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4 PM to 8 PM, and Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM, while the park grounds are open dawn to dusk.
Military Honor & History.
Dublin Camp Parks Military History Center is a fascinating museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories of Camp Parks—from its World War II origins to its role in shaping Dublin's development. Located in the Camp Parks Visitor Center just outside the base’s Main Gate, the facility operates as a collaborative partnership between the City of Dublin and the Parks Reserve Forces Training Area, blending municipal support with military legacy.
Open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the center offers free self-guided tours featuring both permanent, museum-quality exhibits and rotating temporary installations. It also hosts history-focused programs throughout the year and includes a community “Military Book Library”—a take-a-book, leave-a-book resource.
